Whether you write contemporary, historical, paranormal, science fiction, or litfic, you build a world as you write your book, and need to understand the process of worldbuilding. Of course, some genres have deeper needs than others for internal consistency–if you’re creating your own world, there’s a greater opportunity for things not to line up or be consistent or comprehensive. This class is designed to give you a comprehensive tool for worldbuilding, no matter what your genre. You’ll receive general instruction about the process as well as tailored feedback on your internal consistency and apprehension of the world you have created, including charts, maps, and narrative.
