Burning Dante

Lacey Thorn

Genre: Modern/Contemporary/Romance

Publisher: Ellora’s Cave

Purchase: http://www.jasminejade.com/p-8435-burning-dante.aspx

What I liked: I really liked this story. It spoke about past love, Thorn does not disappoint in this contemporary romance. It takes place with two lovers one who was more in love than the other and one was who was scared of the words to them in one night filled with passion. Years pass and Dante is now back and after seeing Phoebe, he knows what he wants. Phoebe has changed, but will she let Dante back into her heart? Only time will tell between the two as things begin to heat back up. Will Dante come to terms with what happened in their past and want to get on with his future? Will Dante’s brother stop his brother from hurting Phoebe. I really enjoyed reading this book because it brought real feelings to the surface for the two characters, finding lost love again. The characterization and dialogue fit perfectly with this story.

Book Blurb:

Phoebe has been in love with Dante Marquetti since before she lost her virginity to the man. She can’t recall a time when he wasn’t the star of all her sexual fantasies. Now Dante is heading back home and she’s determined to have him one more time. She wants to make Dante burn the way she has all these years.

Dante arrives at his new apartment and is greeted by his neighbor out in the hall—naked. Welcome home! When he realizes it’s Phoebe, he decides there’s only one thing to do. He wants her in his bed…and tonight isn’t soon enough.
