What I liked:
Wow. Wow, wow. Wow, wow, wow. This book is now the proud owner of my official favorite contemporary romantic hero of all times. And up there with my favorite just-plain-romantic heroes ever. Mike D’Antoni is… well, he’s everything you could ever want, and more. The way that Rochelle handled the romantic tension in the book was superb, and the relationship between the two main characters is one of the best I’ve ever read. They dated at one time in the past and broke up for very good reasons, but they meet again under different circumstances as different people, and their relationship is just beautiful. I actually cried at one point after one of the love scenes. I found myself wanting Mike D’Antoni to show up at my house and fix my life. Anyway, I was skeptical of the whole remote-viewing thing at first, and there was some annoying cliche-y stuff in the beginning, but once I got to the meat and potatoes of their developing relationship (which developed at a beautiful pace, by the way), I was hooked. I started off reading this book thinking, “I’ll just read for a few minutes and then get back to work”… but two hours later, I was like, “NO! Don’t be OVER!” I’m definitely going back to read the first three of the Phoenix Agency books (even though I now know what happened). And eagerly await the next with anticipation. But it’s possible that this one will always be my favorite (I heart you, Mike). We shall see… 😉 Definitely go buy this book. Immediately. Seriously. Nope, don’t click anywhere else. Go right to this book, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Stick through the kitschy backstory about the Phoenix boys, and just wait until you meet Mike for the first time. I promise you, it’ll be worth your wait…

Book Blurb
Katherine “Kat” Culhane was a highly sought after remote viewer, but her gift was beginning to splinter, and just at a time when she needed it the most. Her sister Mari, along with Mari’s employer and his family, have been kidnapped. But Mike D’Antoni, a partner in the shadowy Phoenix Agency, is suddenly back in her life and could be the only person to help find the hostages. The chemistry between them is just as hot as it ever was, but they parted on very bad terms. They need to put the past behind them as they race to find and rescue the hostages.
