About the Class: Mysteries are on the upswing. Years of investigating criminal behavior gives me the inside scoop on the motivations and responses of outrageous behavior. Enter my world of evaluating personality quirks that surface when teens are under pressure and how they justify illogical behavior. I’ll provide easy to recognize examples of nine anti-social patterns in famous teen stars and convicted teenage criminals.
About the Instructor: Sparked by the intriguing motivations of murderers and their complex relationships with their victims, Janie Bill utilizes her jailhouse experience in her young adult stories. As an investigator for the Attorney General’s Office, she interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence to prosecute criminals. She continued investigating criminal behavior while working as a corporate attorney handling employee issues.
Janie’s nonfiction publications include dozens of legal treatises referenced by attorneys and judges, travel reviews for those with an adventurous spirit, and articles on how healthful eating can save the planet at www.savelivestock.wordpress.com. Her series, “Elements of Fantasy,” appears on www.fantasyfaction.com. Janie also has a string of documentary scripts which are aired on cable, satellite and the internet on “Between Master and Disciples” ofwww.suprememastertv.com. She is a member of Savvy Authors, SCBWI, and the Florida Writer’s Association where she served as the 2010 conference director. Her speaking engagements consist of legal and writers’ seminars, and she is currently the leader for the Greater Orlando chapter of Forever Young Adult. She lives in Florida with her charismatic husband, two sporty kids, two tutti frutti frogs, and two traveling dogs. They spend weekends soaking up the rays during their watery escapades.
