I like to eat healthily – even during Christmas, I tend not to go in for heavy roast dinners. I particularly love the flavours of Chinese cooking, and think a fresh, tasty chicken stir-fry would be a great accompaniment to this book!
1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove, chopped
2 chicken thighs, thinly sliced
½ red pepper, seeds removed, thinly sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
30g/1oz mangetout, green beans or sugar snap peas
100ml/3½fl oz chicken stock
Egg noodles, cooked according to the packet instructions
I heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok, and fry the garlic and chicken until browned all over. Then I add the pepper to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
I stir in the soy sauce, mangetout and chicken stock, and continue to stir-fry over a medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Add in the cooked noodles and stir to combine. Easy, quick and delicious!

I sometimes think people expect romance writers to listen exclusively to the classic love songs, like Whitney Houston. They’re great songs, don’t get me wrong, but I much prefer writing with a playlist of contemporary dance music on in the background. In particular, anything by Calvin Harris or David Guetta!

Writing is hard, there’s no two ways about it. But I also consider myself fortunate enough to have the most rewarding job in the world! So if you really love writing, don’t ever give up – no matter what obstacles get thrown at you, take some deep breaths, surround yourself with people who love and support you, and keep going.

I do all my writing in my library – it’s perfect for me, because I’m a total bookworm! I find it really inspiring being surrounded by books that I love, along with my personal trinkets, the flower-lights over my mantelpiece, and the gorgeous garden view from my window. It truly feels like my own little world I can escape to!
Love Lessons Learned: Real life romance lessons learned from the book.
I think the greatest lesson you can learn from Pixie and Apollo is that love can help you heal from the past: both Pixie and Apollo have felt betrayed, abandoned and used, but their incredible, irresistible passion for each other teaches them to forgive that, and learn to love again. Christmas can bring people together and remind them of what love really means – I certainly think it helps Apollo and Pixie see that.
Movie Star Cast: The author picks movie stars to play the characters in a movie.
I would love to see The Greek’s Christmas Bride on the big screen – but casting would be a 
struggle! He’d need to shave and grow his hair, but for the body and just pure sexiness of Apollo I’d say Joe Manganiello. But there’s also an Italian model, Mario Blanco, who has long hair and the most beautiful face – so if it turns out he can act, I’ll have him!
For Pixie, the only person I can think of is Elle Fanning – she’s stunning, and has such amazing blonde hair. I also think she’s got the feistiness my Greek hero would fall in love with!
A Grateful Holiday: The authors describes what they are grateful for this holiday season.
This year, I’m grateful for my family – as I am each year! I’m so lucky to have such a warm, close-knit family who take my writing as seriously as I do, and I never take it for granted. And, of course, there has to be a special Christmas shout-out to my husband, Michael – my real-life romantic hero, and the only person I have ever wanted to kiss under the mistletoe!
