No longer sure how to navigate life after her enormous loss, Kayley clings to her newborn baby, her family, and her friends to keep herself living.  When she meets someone that challenges her belief that she’s better off alone, she has to decide if she is capable of letting him in after swearing she was never going to love anyone the same way again.
She’s not the only one with a painful past.

I get asked a lot why I wanted to write this book, if it is something personal, and what I liked about writing this story, so I thought- what a better time than a guest post to address that. This isn’t a personal story for me, though in it there is a lot about family relationships and the love of a parent/child, and that is personal, being a mom and a child of a single parent growing up. However, the premise of the story is completely fictional, because I found myself wondering one day what it would be like to be a widow- to lose everything you thought you had in the blink of an eye. How would you go on? What would your life be like then? Then all of the characters and the rest of the storyline started coming to me. These characters lived through me, talked to me (yes, I’m aware of how that sounds). They changed where I thought the story was going and added things I had no idea were going to be there. This is their story, written by me. And here are ten reasons why I think you should read Living Again.

Top 10 Reasons You Should Read Living Again

10. It will make you thankful for the little things in your life that you may take for granted.

9.  You can have a reason to cry- several times.

8. You can escape your reality for a bit.

7. You won’t have to do housework for a really long time (it’s a long book!)

6. You will feel like you are there, experiencing life with them.

5. Doctor’s offices aren’t bad places. In fact, they can be very, very good.

4. Daddies with little girls are just heart melting.

3. You can see a woman assert herself (more than one time).

2. I, the author, would really appreciate the support.

And the #1 reason you should read Living Again is……

Ben. You don’t know him now, but you will want to know him really well later. Best Book Boyfriend. Ever.
