Blog Tour: Master King by Gray Dixon

Jared King has hard rules and plays hard with the submissives at Club Tabu. Living the high life the way he wants has caused more problems with his family. His kink lifestyle is an embarrassment to the King family name. He refuses to settle down and fall in-line with what his father wants. Then there’s his childhood friend haunting his dreams, but the woman told him she despises him. Deep down, he’d defend her honor and lay down his way of life for her.
Now what?
Bailey Melchor is a boutique owner and daddy’s little girl, except she wants to succeed on her own, not using his money. She’s had one true love, but she can’t stand him. Their one-time hookup turned into a disaster twelve years ago. They meet again at a friend’s wedding, but after too many glasses of champagne, they wake up in bed together. Not Dallas, but Vegas.
Now what?

Excerpt (no more than 500 words) – NAUGHTY
He spanked her again, over the same spot, which now was a pretty shade of pink. Bailey whimpered, but there was an undertone of lust in her voice. The tiny mewls made his dick harden.
“Do you believe in second chances, Bee?” he whispered, as he passed his palm over her mound. She felt bare beneath the thin fabric.
“Depends, I guess. I’d like to think everyone deserves at least one, but life can fool us into thinking it can happen.”
He pushed the slender part of the thong aside and eased a finger between her moistened pussy lips. She was soft to the touch and very wet. He wondered if she really was turned on by his rough handling and anticipated exploring the issue. Her moan echoed off the walls. The thought of how his tongue would push inside her, eagerly tasting and savoring her essence, nearly made him come.
Pressing two fingers into her pussy, her body answered, her inner tissues squeezing him. He added a third, stretching her more. His cock pressed like a hard, steel rod against the leather of his pants.
“We’re virtual strangers, Bailey. We may have had sex once before, but too many years have slipped by to say we know one another in an intimate way. Since no one will ever know what happens here, do you want to see where this will take us?”
“Yes,” she panted her response.
“That’s my good girl. Then consider this our second chance.” Pumping his fingers inside her a few times, he felt her shiver with each move. With his thumb, he circled her clit, and she cried out in pleasure. He paused and shook his head slightly. His body continued to feel strange, almost like he’d been drugged, but he brushed the crazy thoughts aside in favor of believing it was her intoxicating power over him. He had to get her out of there and somewhere more private. “Turn around.”
She lowered her arms and did as he asked which pleased him with her immediate compliance.
He cradled her chin between his thumb and forefinger, and she lifted her eyes to meet his. “As much as I’d like to hear you scream and beg for my cock, Bailey, I won’t do that to you here. This isn’t you, and I won’t subject you to my world without discussing this further. Do you want to go to my place or yours?”
His cock wasn’t relaxed, and he had to have her without scaring the shit out of her like their last time. His arousal grew by the second waiting for her to respond. He leaned forward to enjoy her scent which only served to heighten the increasing pain in his groin with the hardening erection.
She stared up at him mutely then her body went limp as he held her in his embrace. She grinned and spoke in a whisper. “I don’t care. Anywhere is fine, as long as I am with you. Surprise me.”

Where are you from? Tell us a little about yourself!

I’m from here, there and everywhere. Seriously. I was born into a military family and traveled to different ports of call. Then I married a career military officer and traveled again. I grew up in a pretty open yet conservative family, the eldest of four children. Didn’t write except for school purposes, but did a lot of reading. My first release was February 2013 after the idea for the Masters of Tabu came to me one Sunday afternoon for no other reason than it did.

Tell us about your book? How did it get started?

The one I’m highlighting is Master King. The full-length novel at 80K words is the third in the Masters of Tabu series. There will be seven books, maybe more.

The Masters of Tabu revolve around the journey of college friends from Dallas, Texas, seeking redemption, healing and love when they least expect it. Hot days and sizzling nights await—Marcus Knight, Mitchell Prince, Jared King, Shane Marshal, Brock Dragon and Jagger Squire with Simon Tempest, a friend of Marcus Knight rounding out the co-owners of Club Tabu, a BDSM private club. Dallas will never be the same.

The tagline for Master King is: Tomorrow, a few new rules have to be put in place, but tonight…he has other plans.

How do you create your characters?
Initially, when I can up with the idea, I came up with a mini-synopsis of each of the seven stories, the names of the main characters, what their jobs were, their physical characteristics and a vague outline of how the story would evolve. After that, I sat down and let the characters speak to me to create their story.

What inspires and what got you started in writing?
Everything around me inspires, whether reading for research and I discover another idea for a storyline, watching television programs with historical or contemporary “discovery” channels or what is in the headline news around the world.
I started writing because I had a story to tell. Turns out I have more than one.

Where do you write? Is there something you need in order to write (music, drinks?)
I don’t have a dedicated place in my house, only a comfortable chair and my laptop literally on my lap. I have smooth jazz playing in the background.

How do you get your ideas for writing?

I kind of answered that above with what inspires me.

What do you like to read?
Just about anything. I do love paranormal and Kerrilyn Sparks is my favorite right now.
What would your advice to be for authors or aspiring in regards to writing?

Write, write, write and improvement will come. Follow publishers’ submission guidelines exactly, join critique groups, chat groups with your same interests and learn to promote to get your name/brand out to the public.

Anything else you’d like to share?
I’d like to invite everyone to my blog and read more of the upcoming books, maybe join my social networks or just stop by and say hi!
