Where are you from? Tell us a little about yourself!

I was born in California in the United States, and while I have lived in many states, I currently live in California, and have a love for soft, gentle breezes and calm climates.  Trees, flowers, the ocean, and mountains are all extremely important to me with how I connect.

I am an author of adult literary fiction, poetry, and romance.  Poetry is something that has taken me awhile to discover is part of my natural language.  The following excerpts are from poems that I wrote that were an integral part of how I came to realize that poetry is within me:

….Tingles open your layers

As the clouds dissolve from the fabric of your skin

For your internal flame has been ignited with a reminder of hope….

….a flower unfolds with a glimpse of warm rays

Then droops with the wind, a tear suspended on it’s edge….

Tell us about your book? How did it get started?

Ancient Script of Lovecontu audio poem carries the internal vocabulary of a character’s heart, that beautiful space of needs, desires, dreams, feelings, with the undercurrent of the depth of lovecontu a continual rhythm within a heart.

Lovecontu touches as flowers, sounds of a pink glow, song of radiant chords, and continues within the series of interconnected stories Lovecontu Song de Light Lovecontu that includes Ancient Script of Lovecontu audio poem.

I was drawn to this topic by my heart.  Ancient Script of Lovecontu developed through many hikes, engaging with nature, and playing with words on pen and paper.  Every time I listen to this audio poem, I hear something new, and even different meanings within the poetry.

Lovecontu is defined in rhythmic words and subtle ways throughout the series, and within the multiple poems designed to connect the story of Ancient Script of Lovecontu as words of

caresses around

as a cocoon of soft cashmere

accompanied by sweet aroma

allures to intimate nearness

remains a velvet kiss

A heart’s breath, vital inhales and exhales.

What inspires and what got you started in writing?

Writing has always been an essential verb and noun for me.

I don’t know exactly when I started writing.  It’s always been an internal, external expression of me.  Writing feels like it’s what breathes inside of me.  Creating stories, layers of poetry, are the touch and feel of the fabric of me.

My inspirations come from the interior spaces within my heart, and within other people, moments by moments, and within precious natural elements like the layers inside of a tree.

Where do you write? Is there something you need in order to write (music, drinks?)

Quiet is always helpful, and yet, I find that some part of me is continually writing in any environment that I’m in what my imagination springs.  Lines and rows of notebooks build the prose and poetry, and breathing space between paragraphs often helps me too.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I also wanted to share another excerpt from one of my poems that was important to the start of my poetry, and continues to touch me in new ways:

….And, I see

A sliver of bright white seduce my imagination

As it’s fullness inches into sight

Within midnight’s velvet crescendo….
