Every story is a puzzle, with pieces that need to be set just so to complete the picture. In this fun and laidback workshop, we’ll use a popular holiday movie as a tool to learn how to analyze the pieces of your story to make it easier for you to fit them together.
In this workshop we’ll cover:
· How understanding character traits will give you new insight on building a dynamic, enjoyable story
· How your characters’ internal goals fuel their character growth
· How external goals fuel the story—and where motivation fits in
· Five tools/techniques for making your story ‘real’ and believable.
· An easy structure for creating a 5 Star Plot
Lessons will be accompanied by fun, quick and easy assignments with feedback from the presenter on your story.
If you have specific questions, email MRWEducation@yahoogroups.com
