This blog was created by Denise in September 2008 to blog about writing, book reviews, and technology. Slowly, but surely this blog expanded to what it has become now, a central for book reviews of all kinds interviews, contests, and of course promotional venue for authors, etc

If you love a bit of suspense, contemporary romance, and surprises then you’ll love nancy Lenna’s Destiny’s Mountain. It tells the tale of Jacob Oliver, a man trying to figure out his life after being forced off his job, but also divorced. When he meets Destiny Blake his world changes unexpectedly and so their love begins for each other. I really enjoyed this story because it had such a great meaning behind it about how love is so mysterious and how life works itself out. It’s about two people finding something they were missing or thought they could live without. Lennea writes very emotional characters with a good back story because you can always find something to relate to in her characters. The book also has a great pace to it so it’s not too fast or too slow, so as a reader I felt very comfortable while reading it. This is a definite read for those of you who love contemporary romance will enjoy this read and will find this a book to pick up again and again.

Book Blurb:

In a quirky college town surrounded by the mountains of New Hampshire, new art history professor Jacob Oliver hikes a trail on a crisp September morning. He contemplates his life. Divorced, and forced out of his job with the Boston Police due to a horrific accident, he spots a naked woman beneath a majestic waterfall. Escaping, he falls and re-injures his knee. Destiny Blake heard a noise. Someone is on her mountain. She finds a handsome man sitting in the mud. Love blooms and lust consumes them after she helps him to the safety of her cabin. Soon assumptions tear them apart, leaving her vulnerable to the unwanted attentions of other men. When Jacob decides he cannot live without her, he must save her from a madman who chases her up her mountain through the cold, snowy darkness of a November night. Ghostly voices push Jacob onward, while another spirit’s voice urges Destiny to fight back. Pain, hypothermia, and death threaten as the sun rises. Can Destiny and Jacob make it off Destiny’s Mountain…alive?

Thank you for the wonderful review of DESTINY’S MOUNTAIN. It was recently released by RED ROSE PUBLISHING who also published my debut novel, SECRET LOVE MATCH. My next release comes next year and follows some of the quirky characters in DESTINY’S MOUNTAIN. Thanks again!
